BeforePaws creates AI-imagined baby portraits from a pet photograph. This policy explains what data is involved and the choices available to you.

What We Collect

• Pet photo and choices: the image you upload, pet type, selected age, and scene.
• Private memory data: generated images, processing status, and a random private access token stored on your device. We store only a cryptographic hash of that token.
• Purchase data: email address, selected price, product, currency, PayPal order, capture, refund or reversal status, and related transaction identifiers. PayPal processes your payment-account or funding-source details; BeforePaws does not receive or store full card numbers.
• Technical and security data: limited request, device, and diagnostic information needed to operate the service, prevent abuse, and investigate failures.

No account is required for the memory flow, and we do not publish uploaded or generated images in a public gallery.

How We Use Data

We use this data only to create your preview, complete a purchased Memory Pack, provide private downloads, process payment and refunds, prevent abuse, and maintain the service.

AI, Storage, and Payment Providers

Your uploaded photo and prompt are sent to KIE.AI and its selected image model to perform generation. KIE.AI may temporarily process or host those files under its own terms. If object storage is configured, generated files are copied to our Cloudflare R2 or compatible storage. Cloudflare Images may process preview bytes to flatten a visible watermark before delivery. PayPal receives the information needed to operate checkout, payment verification, refunds, reversals, and fraud controls.

These providers act under their own privacy and retention terms. Data may be processed in countries other than your own.

Retention and Deletion

The private memory link is scheduled to expire seven days after creation. Source uploads sent through KIE.AI use temporary file links where supported. Selecting Delete this memory immediately revokes the BeforePaws record and attempts to remove generated files from our configured object storage. Provider-side logs or temporary copies may remain for the period required by that provider, fraud prevention, or law.

Payment records may be retained longer where needed for accounting, tax, chargeback, and legal obligations. Backups and security logs may take additional time to cycle out.

Your Choices and Rights

You may use the delete control on your private result page. Depending on your location, you may also request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection. Keep your private result link or payment receipt so we can locate the correct record without collecting an account profile.

Security

Memory records are protected by high-entropy private tokens and are excluded from search indexing. We use encryption in transit and limit returned API data. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so do not upload photos containing people, documents, addresses, or other sensitive information.

Children and Prohibited Images

BeforePaws is not directed to children. Upload only a pet image you own or are authorized to use. Do not upload images of people or unlawful content.

Changes and Contact

We may update this policy as the service changes. The date above will show the latest revision. For a privacy request, reply to your BeforePaws purchase receipt or email support@beforepaws.com. Include your private memory link or payment identifier when available, but do not send card details.
